William R. Roy started his practice, William R. Roy, AIA Architect, in Ludington, Michigan in 1981. In 2006, he started the R2 Design Group and opened an additional office in Grand Rapids after approaching his son Bill about joining his practice to help manage his growing client base. As a respected architect in West Michigan with more than 35 years of experience, his projects include government, healthcare, institutional, educational, ecclesiastical, single and multi-family residential uses. Jonathan I. Blair
Director of Design
Jonathan Blair, director of R2’s design studio, is actively involved in the planning, programming and design of corporate, hospitality, educational, residential and retail developments. Jonathan joined the R2 Design Group in 2007 and is responsible for the overall design aesthetic and continuity of the firm. His extensive portfolio and over ten years of experience allow him to follow projects through all phases of development from conception to construction administration.
